Kramatorsk (landscape park)

"Kramatorsk" — regional landscape park in Donetsk area.
Has been created on May, 18th, 2004 by the decision of Donetsk country council for preservation of unique natural objects.
As of January, 1st, 2007 the park total area has made 1738,82 hectares.
Consists of four sites: "White", «the Pchyolkinsky hardened trees», "Kamyshevaha", "Belokuzminovsky". The geological nature sanctuary of local value is included In park structure «Skaloobraznoe an exposure of the top chalk»
The white

The site territory "White" represents virgin steppe. Also on this site there are numerous exits on a surface of cretaceous breeds. Vegetation — steppe. On a site it is fixed over 200 kinds of insects. 17 kinds of insects, and also some kinds of plants are brought in the Red book of Ukraine.

The Pchyolkinsky hardened trees

The site area «the Pchyolkinsky hardened trees» makes 15,41 hectare. On him there are hardened araucarias. The site territory represents a pine file.

Kamyshevaha

The area of a site of "Kamyshevaha" makes 977,7 hectare. Here there is a lake in which there live half-civilized swans-shipuny. Swans have appeared in lake in 1973. Some kinds of the plants growing on this site are under protection: the adonis Volga, a hazel grouse Russian, a saffron mesh.

The Belokuzminovsky
The site area "Belokuzminovsky" makes 268,8 hectare. On this site there is a geological nature sanctuary «Skaloobraznoe an exposure of the top chalk». The site territory represents virgin forest-steppe on which there are beams and байрачные woods. 28 kinds of the plants growing on a site, are under protection. In total on this site 120 kinds of grassy plants are. Some kinds of the insects living here, are under the threat of disappearance: the skolija-giant, skolija the steppe.
